Hospital Eye Clinic Advice Service (ECLO)
Our Hospital Eye Clinic Advice Service (ECLO) at the eye clinics have now resumed, following closure due to COVID-19.
The Hospital Eye Clinic Advice Service (ECLO) is available at eye clinics in Nuneaton, Warwick and Stratford Hospitals.
Our Eye Clinic Liaison Officers (ECLO) offer advice and support at the point of diagnosis, providing information on;
• Living with sight loss and maintaining independence
• Eye conditions and treatment information
• Emotional support
• Guidance through the Rehabilitation and Registration process
• Information and demonstration of the latest equipment and aids
• Information on benefits you could be entitled to
Our team will introduce you to our community advice services, as well as the range of social support activities available to you. They also provide information about support from services provided by other support organisations.
Of most importance, the Eye Clinic Liaison Officers will ensure that you have our contact details so you can get in touch with us at a later date with any questions. We understand that this is a difficult time and that you have a great deal of information to take in all at once. We want you to know that we are here to help and support you as you adjust to living with sight loss.
If you would like any more information about the Hospital Advice and Information Service (ECLO), or would like further details about our services, please call us on 01926 411331 or complete our Contact Us form.
