David Adams and guide dog Jimbo to reach height of Mt Everest

Their fundraising trek began on March 1st, has now reached 25,477 feet, and will achieve the 29,032-foot height of Mt Everest on David's 78th birthday, Sunday, August 8th. 

 

Join David at the summit -- in-person 

Come to Priors Marston, if you can, to celebrate the final ascent at a Sunday lunch picnic at the top of Marston Hill, featuring charity stands, food and drink stalls and music.  Meet David outside Marston Grange at 12:00 to make the last climb with him or meet at the top of the hill at 12:30. The map shows when and where to meet and where to park.

•    MND Association focuses on improving access to care, research and campaigning for those people living with MND, also known as ALS.  David's son Simon died of MND 10 years ago as have quite a few residents of Priors Marston.
•    Warwickshire Association for the Blind was established in 1911.  Now known as Warwickshire Vision Support, it helps over 20,000 people in the county who are blind or sight impaired.
